Q & A

International Travelers by Air:

There are two relatively close airports to the Global Bushcraft Symposium located at the Foothills Camp in Red Deer County, Alberta.
  1. Calgary International Airport (airport code: YYC) is located approximately 120 km away or 1 1/2 hour by automobile.
  2. Edmonton International Airport (airport code: YEG) is located approximately 200 km away or 2 hours by automobile.

There is no bus service to the event from the airports. The event is being held in the Alberta countryside and not close to any large cities.

At this time, please plan on coordinating your own travel to the symposium through using a car rental service which has a shuttle service to take you to the different car rental agencies.  If ride sharing or other opportunities become available to coordinate travel to the site, we will post on the website as we get closer to the event.

Pricing:

-All prices are in Canadian Dollars.
-The website uses paypal which accepts paypal or credit cards. Your credit card company will do the exchange on the payment.
